Springbok ladies make it a clean sweep against Spain.

Some say it is just reward for the hard work the Springbok woman put in the last couple of months which saw them make a clean sweep against Spain in their series.

They have now won 5 out of the 6 matches they played this year building up to the World Cup in October.

Coach Stanley Raubenheimer is happy with the wins but still sees this as the journey they started four years ago.

The aim was always to build a competitive team to compete against the bigger teams.

On Friday the ladies Bok side beat Spain 37-14 scoring 23 unanswered points in the second half. This was a good comeback after they were behind 14-10 at the break. That showed character which is so important for any team at this leavel.

The game was played in front of a good crowd which helped the ladies in the test.

The whole squad can be proud in what they have achieved this past few months in Japan and here against Spain.
